FRESH is a collaborative research programme between the University of Leeds and the Institute of Grocery Distribution
Over the past 5 years, the team at the University of Leeds, led by Professor Michelle Morris, has worked with major UK retailers to independently evaluate the effectiveness of real-world interventions in retail environments. These interventions use behavioural strategies – such as signposting, product placement, messaging and price – to see what works to shift purchasing behaviours towards healthier and more sustainable foods.
